Valentines Getaway

My Valentine took me to San Diego for the weekend! He is so cute! We had so much fun! Our flight to San Diego was even fun! It was all decked out in Valentines decor and the flight attendant played a game with all of the passengers. It was called the peanut slide! He poured bags of peanuts and pretzels on the floor and when we took off they slid down the isles and we had to grab as many as we could and push them back for everyone to get some! It was pretty funny! Steve really got into it, we got like five bags of honey roasted peanuts! ha ha

Here is my husband showing the camera all of the decorations on the airplane! He's such a hunk! When we got to Del Mar, we went to a nice restaurant called Jake's. It was an hour and a half wait but we knew that all of the restaurants would be busy because it was Valentines Day. About an hour and a half after we got there, we met a really nice older couple from Solona Beach. They got seated before us because they made reservations two months prior. They came back after they were seated and invited us to come sit with them because they felt bad that we had to wait so long, especially because I was pregnant and hungry! Man, I feel so spoiled being pregnant! So we ate a very nice dinner with two complete strangers on Valentines Day! It was so much fun! They were really nice people! Afterwards, we were still hungry though (those fancy restaurants serve such small portions!) So we went to McDonald's at 11pm and got french fries and hot fudge sundaes! It was quite delicious! 

We cuddled up to the fire and watched movies at night! My perfect idea of fun!

We took walks on the beach both mornings! It was so wonderful! I think I am still there mentally though! We weren't ready to come home, but we had a great, relaxing weekend!

Now I'm all rested up and ready to go!
