Karate Kicks

Parker's kicks are becoming a lot stronger and more powerful! Yesterday, as I sat on my chaise lounge reading, I could actually see my stomach moving and when the baby kicked. I just sat there and stared with my mouth wide open! It was the coolest feeling and sight I have ever seen in my life. I feel so overwhelmed with gratitude and love right now for the blessing that I have to become a mother. I have waited my whole life for this and it is finally happening. I feel like Parker's little spirit is so strong and valiant and I cannot wait to meet him. Steve informed me today that I am going to have to be the disciplinarian with our kids... or at least when he have a girl. How nice of him-- make me be the bad guy! :) Steve is going to be such an incredible father to our children I already know it. I watch the way he is with little kids and they just attach to him like a leech the second he walks into a room. He is one of the most patient people I know, I actually have learned to be a little more patient from him, if you can believe that or not! I am so excited to start this new chapter of our lives with my eternal companion. Parker is definitely going to be loved!

  3. That is a nice tummy shot. I was starting to feel like a giant after the tiny bump on your last picture. You are so cute, and your little boy must be getting pretty strong. Parker is so lucky to have you and Steve for parents.

  4. Unfortunately I think Mommies end up being the bad guys always! We are with the kiddos the most, and therefor our responsibility to teach them- which does not always make the little guys happy when they can't do what they want. Do it with love and hopefully all will be well! I am so excited for you and this special time in your life!

  14. Isn't that the coolest? I'd have to say one of my favorite things about being a mom so far is watching what a great dad Ryan is. You'll love it just as much with Steve :)

  16. So, we are still living in California for now, I am working 4 days a week and its been good! I have Thursdays off, which I love! It breaks up the week so I don't get overwhelmed. We are actually planning on moving right after the baby is born to where my husbands family live so Ian can focus on school and I can be at home a lot more. I can't wait, How awesome working 2 days a week will be! I think that is the PERFECT number of days! You'll want some of your own time and you'll love it! I think thats ideal! I wish we could afford to live here doing that, but no go out here! Especially while Ians in school...all in good time! We found out were having another girl, so I'm really excited, they'll be close, I hope...I should ask you! You know how that goes! I always tell Ian, I think were gonna have a crap load of girls...I think it kinda stresses him out a little :) Anyway, I could go on all day!!! So fun to find you on here! I'll love looking at all the milestones, I'm gonna add you to our list right now! Can't wait to see the little charmer! YAY!
