Relaxing Memorial Day

It was so nice to have the day off with Steve on Memorial Day. We wanted to get away for the weekend, but decided to save money and go to Scottsdale for the day. We woke up and went to the gym, ate breakfast and than got my car washed... because it was ridiculously dirty from the rain. Around 11:30 we headed to one of our favorite restaurants called Arcadia Farms in Old Town. It is the most delicious, organic restaurant ever!
Everything is fresh, even the water tastes extra delicious and refreshing!
My favorite is their strawberry chicken salad with poppy seed dressing! Can you tell that I'm pregnant... I talk about food a lot!
After Arcadia Farms, we decided to be sneaky and went to the Phoenician to play yuppies for the day. We pretended we were staying there and went swimming and read while we sunbathed for a couple of hours. I was just trying to follow my doctors orders to get out and get some Vitamin D... it's good for the baby... just thinking of little Parker! :) P.S. I think Steve looks super HOT in the picture below. He didn't know I was going to take a picture of him then!
Here's me almost 30 weeks pregnant, sipping on some yummy Vitamin Water. It was so relaxing. I started reading Baby Wise and I am feeling really pumped to get our baby on a good eating/sleeping schedule when he comes.
After that, we went shopping (and didn't find anything) and than went to dinner at Outback and then got a concrete at Nielsen's Frozen Custard... my absolute FAVORITE!!! That night, we worked on our vision boards and cut out different pictures that we liked in magazines. It was such a fun day! I love that my husband likes doing stuff like that! He is my best friend in the whole wide world. Hope you all had a great weekend too!

I will post pictures of the baby's room in the next couple of weeks... it is still a work in progress. But it is going to be oh-so-cute!!!

  7. Bummed I missed your shower last night. I heard it was awesome! Hopefully you will post some of the cute stuff you got. Oh, and for that Baby Wise book- I HATED IT! After Christian came and he would cry when the book said he should be sleeping and to let him "cry it out" my heart would sink and there is no way I could do it! Just remember that your instincts are right and no book knows your baby like you do! :) Not like you asked for my advise, but you got it anyways!
