Attn: Best Mom of The Year

Parker and I both voted and the winner goes to... drum roll please... Cheryl Weathersby gets the "Best Mom of The Year Award!"
She has been an absolute saint this past week! She has driven out to Mesa everyday since I went into labor last Wednesday. She has stocked our refrigerator with food, held my baby so I can nap and shower and even blog, made us lunch and dinner everyday and has offered me moral support and sympathized with my crazy emotions!
Parker loves his Nana! He told me so in baby talk.
She was at the hospital when I was in labor and was up since 3:30 the morning before. She really was a trooper!
They bonded instantly! We love you Nana! Come and claim your special prize... Parker wants to give it to you himself...

  1. Your Mom is rockin'! I love the first picture of Parker sleeping in her arms. Don't you think he looks like Steve in that one!? So tiny and cute!

  3. Moms are the best! My mom came over every morning for the first few weeks and would take Odin from me so I could sleep and feed him a bottle that I had pumped. She would prepare meals, clean my house and hang out with me! Just think, someday we will do these same things for our kids! Hug your mom more each time you see her, she deserves it!

  7. Although you are not my mother Cheryl, I now want you to be. I'm filing the paperwork online as soon as I find the appropriate website. I'm especially in need of stocking my frig and making dinners and then dealing with my crazy emotions would be a bonus.

  10. She is awesome! Cheryl- anytime you dont feel like driving ALL the way to Mesa, feel free to drive a few blocks to my house. I have a brand new baby for you to hold PLUS 4 other boys who are in much need of an Arizona Nana!
Erin- I hear you on the crazy hormone stuff! Dont worry, it does get better. It is crazy because you are totally happy to have this new baby but all of a sudden you start crying for no reason (that is if you are like me). Just try to get out each day- even if it is just in the backyard!
