Parker's room is finally finished! These shelves look like they would be pretty easy to put up right? -- WRONG! Don't let them fool you. They fooled me. I bought them at Target and thought they would be super easy to install. I finally got my great husband to hang them and he warned me that this was not an easy project, but I didn't realize it was going to take two hours! I just have to give Steve a big shout out! THANK YOU HONEY! You are the best husband in the whole wide world!
Now here are the pictures of the room! It turned out just the way I wanted it to! I had so much fun with it!
Who says little boys aren't fun to decorate for? This was a blast!!
We gave Parker a bath today and he still loves bath time! He just sits there really still and is so happy and content the whole time! I don't know if you can tell, but I think his eyes are going to be blue because they are lightening up more and more everyday. :)
Tara and Ava came over last Wednesday to spend the day with us. I love this picture of Parker looking up at Tara. He was very happy and relaxed with her because she figured out why he was crying, he needed "Butt Paste"... yes it is really called that... on his little bottom. I don't know why I couldn't figure that out. I guess I am still new to this "mommy thing"! Thanks Aunt Tara for helping me out!
Ava loves Parker. She kept backing up and sitting on Tara's lap so that she could be really close to him and see what was going on.
I had to post another sleeping picture because I just love the way he sleeps. He looks so relaxed in this picture!
I set up his little play gym the other day... yeah-- he wasn't really a fan. I think I'll have to wait till he is a little older to use that one.
I love this close up picture of him. He was still pretty content in this picture because it was right when I laid him down and he was trying to figure out what was going on. I just love this little boy.
I love being a mommy. Life is good.
