Steve and I took Parker "swimming" (it was more like lounging in two inch deep water) on Saturday. He wasn't so sure about it at first...
but then he warmed up to the idea. He lasted about 20 minutes and then he was done... we were kind of done too so it worked out just fine! I love him in his little swim suit, especially how his belly sticks out!
We went to Steve's parents house for Mother's Day (my parents were in London... not fair, I know!) I love this picture of Mike and Lindsay with Parker because he just sat there so relaxed for the longest time. It was pretty funny how chill he was!
I told Steve all I wanted was to sleep in on Mother's Day. Parker decided to wake up at 5:30 that morning (little stinker) and Steve bounced out of bed and went in and played with him so that I could sleep! Now that is a good husband. Then they gave me a new wallet and sunglasses while we ate breakfast together as a family! I ran to Parker and told him "Thank you so much baby! I love it!!" and then gave him a kiss. He got so bashful and looked up at Steve like "She liked our gift Daddy!" It was precious! Church was great too, Parker was a good boy and sat on my lap most of the time and was very relaxed so that made it way more enjoyable! We ended our day at my in-laws house and we had a great time celebrating Trevor's birthday and Mothers Day!
I'm sure glad they made a holiday for motherhood... because it was a lot of fun!
