Farewell Trevor!

My brother-in-law, Trevor, left on his mission a week and a half ago. We all went to the airport to say goodbye. Jase wasn't so sure about waking up at 6am, or at least that's what it looks like in this picture (he does have a cute pouty face though!)
Notice they are holding hands... :) They held hands almost the whole way to the airport!
When we got to his terminal, we noticed the actor that played Joseph Smith in all of the church movies! He was on his way to Utah to film a movie about the Willie and Martin Handcart Company (my ancestors were a part of that!)
Trevor is such an amazing person. I love his desire to learn and gain knowledge. He is one of the smartest people I know! He is a scholar in the scriptures (at 19 years old) and he has the biggest heart! We are sure going to miss his funny songs, peaceful spirit, and his great big smile! But we know that he is going to make an amazing missionary!
Parker sure loves his Uncle Trevor!
One last picture with all of the Larsen Boys (and two Stout boys) for two years!
Steve's last embrace with Trevor before he walked onto the plane. It was a bittersweet moment.
Off he goes to the MTC (Missionary Training Center) and then to Jacksonville, FL!
Parker was intently watching the plane leave. He's going to miss his Uncle Trevor!
Return with honor Elder Larsen! (We know you will!)

  1. I'm sure Trevor will be a wonderful missionary! I can't wait to hear about his experiences out in the field.

  2. He looks like he's going to be an amaing missionary. Aaron served in that same mission, Spanish speaking. That's pretty neat.
