Choo Choo, Hudson's 2!

I cannot believe that my baby is already two years old. I feel like it was just yesterday that I held Hudson in my arms for the very first time. He is such a sweet, funny, adorable, smart little boy and we are so blessed to have him in our family. He makes us all laugh and those big brown eyes and cute dimples sure make it hard to refuse anything he wants. He knows how to work it with the ladies too. Man, that boy was a flirt from the day he was born. His big brown eyes, and long dark eye lashes are enough to put you in a cuteness comatose! I sure love my Hudson boy and even though I don't want him to grow any faster than he already has, I can't wait to celebrate many more birthdays with him!
He is absolutely obsessed with trains. So we did a train themed party at Freestone Park where they have  a train ride and a few other fun rides for kids. It was cold and rainy that day, but the weather didn't stop us from having fun! Hudson was in heaven and loved all of the grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins around to spoil him with love and celebrate his special day with him. We had a great little spot right next to the rides overlooking the lake. The kids all rolled down the hills, chased ducks and went on endless rides (thanks to Nana and Papa for buying them all wrist bands to ride as many rides as they wanted!)
Funny story about the cake: I was carrying the cake from the car to the table and I completely tripped on the railroad tracks and fell over into the mud. I took a chunk out of my knuckle and had muddy knees all night, but all I cared about was saving that cake! ha ha! My sister-in-law, Meredith, witnessed the entire thing and said she wished she had a video camera to record the intensity of my face when I was falling because my eyes were focused on the cake and nothing else. Phew! That was a close one!

He has the best cheesy grin!

He blew out his candle under Aunt Krista's umbrella because it started to sprinkle. That didn't stop him or any of us from stopping his party!

Aunt Krista kept giving him fish kisses because he kept asking for "Moe" (more.)
Kenzi went on all the rides. She totally thinks she's as big as the other kids! It's so cute!

He got to finish off the night by pulling the "choo choo horn" on the train. It was fun seeing him so excited and showing off his big cheesy grin all night long.

I am so grateful that I get to be a mommy. It is definitely my true calling in life and brings me so much joy and fulfillment.  I am so grateful that God gave us two adorable little boys to raise and love forever.

Happy birthday baby! We sure love you to pieces!
