I Married Prince Charming

My adorable little niece, Gracie, really wanted to go to the princess ball that her stake put on last Saturday, but her dad had to work so she didn't have a date to take her... until her Uncle Steve (a.k.a. My sexy husband) called and asked her if he could take her. She was so excited-- this was her reaction on the phone: "YES!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!-- What will I wear! I have to go find a dress!! Mom, what dress should I wear?!" ... Her mother than told me that she ran straight to her room and took EVERY dress out of her closet and put them on her bed. She finally decided on her white dress with pink flowers on it. Good choice Gracie!
When she came out to greet her "prince" she literally ran to him!! This picture is priceless!

She was being very silly. I think Parker liked it. :)
And now they're off to the ball! I don't think Prince Steve knew how much of a work out he was going to get that night!
When they got home, she told us that she "danced Steve's shoes off!!" He then looked at us and said that he thought he burned a couple thousand calories that night. She didn't just want to dance... she wanted him to swing her up in the air and twirl her around the entire time. He finally bribed her to leave by saying he would carry her all the way out to the car... she agreed-- but only if they could dance to two more songs!

Next year, Steve and her father might need to tag team it at the princess ball so that they don't wear themselves out! ha ha! Glad you two had a good time!

    That's so nice! Steve is a hero and Gracie is such a cutie. What fun to see her be so excited. And Steve be excited in his own "what have I got myself into" sort of way. But I must say that Steve didn't show any signs of thinking that!!! Good for him. He's a super duper good sport and good uncle!

    Gracie looked adorable!! And it doesn't surprise me that she was so excited!! She loves her Uncle Steve!! Glad they had a good time!!

    That is adorable. Steve is such a stud for doing that. He will make a great daddy for a girl someday - we already know he's a great daddy for a boy. :)

    Steve is my super hero! Gracie had SO MUCH fun that night! She couldn't stop talking about it. Thanks Uncle Steve for being the best fill in Prince Charming ever!!!

    I sure wish I had those adorable pictures from that night. Hmmmmm, who was supposed to send those to me, I can't remember????
