Happy Birthday Hudson!

Dear Hudson,

I cannot believe you are already one year old! It feels like just yesterday I was holding you in my arms for the very first time. I remember giggling in the hospital when I saw your chubby cheeks with two perfect dimples and big brown eyes. You came out with a smile on your face and it has never left. You bring so much joy to my life and your happy personality instantly cheers me up. Now you have four teeth, are crawling all over the place and you are happy and content almost all the time. You are very good at entertaining yourself too. Whenever our house is quiet and I realize I haven't heard you in a while, I never hesitate to look under the kitchen table and that is where you always are, playing with toys. It's kind of your secret hiding place. You love your big brother, Parker, and he loves you too-- I guess you could call each other best buds! You wave both of your hands in the air and sing along (in baby language) any time you hear someone singing. You say "Hi" and wave at anyone and everyone. Whenever you look at me from across the room, you blush and turn your head really fast while giving me flirty eyes. It melts my heart every. single. time. You are becoming a daddy's boy now. If he's in the room, your face lights up and you want to do anything he's doing. You love your bottle and your giraffe blanket is your favorite thing in the whole wide world. Oh and food-- you LOVE to eat anything we eat, even vegetables! But when you are done, you better watch out because you like to throw your food on the floor (always with an irresistible smile on your face!) It's safe to say that you are a really easy baby! Thank you so much for coming to our family Hudson. We love you so much and love watching you grow... just slow down because you're growing up too fast!
