Nesting

We got our house painted before we moved in right before we got married. For some reason, I think it was because I had so many decisions to make at the time, we decided to paint our doors and base boards tan. I haven't liked it the whole two years I have lived here. So I finally convinced my husband to let me paint the base boards and doors white. It would totally brighten everything up and make it feel fresh and clean! He didn't want me to do it being six and a half months pregnant, so we hired painters to do it for us. We thought it wouldn't be a huge ordeal, just blue tape around the base boards and doors... but this is what we came home to on Wednesday night...
Our ENTIRE HOUSE was one big plastic tent!! Our painter, Cesar, sprays everything instead of using a brush because he doesn't want it to look streaky! We walked into our house thinking we were going to sleep at home that night, but we couldn't even get to our medicine cabinet to get our toothbrushes. Our gracious next door neighbors/sister and brother-in-law, let us stay with them that night! Thank goodness! They even fed us dinner and breakfast the next morning! What would we have done with out them? Thanks Lori and Nick!

The next night, Steve and Nick moved all of the furniture back while I scrubbed and cleaned the entire house. It was filthy! But after two hours of cleaning of Thursday night and two and a half hours the next morning, our house was as good as new! I will post pictures soon, because I am doing a little redecorating and it is not quite finished yet! I absolutely LOVE my white doors and base boards! Cesar also painted the baby's room and it is A-DOR-ABLE! Pictures will come soon...
