Parker's 1st San Diego Experience

Parker went on his first air plane ride! I'm glad that it only takes an hour to fly to San Diego!
This was his face when the plane was ascending into the sky. He got really excited and confused as to what was happening! Then he screamed for a few minutes until we stopped ascending. His poor little ears hurt! I tried nursing him and giving him a paci but he didn't quite know what to do with himself. Steve and I felt really bad.
He was happy as a clam the next morning though when we took him to the beach! His cheeks were all smooshed in the backpack because he was so happy and relaxed with his daddy!
Steve and Parker chased the birds and he had the biggest smile on his face!
All that walking on the beach just wiped the little guy out! Daddy didn't mind of course because he loves cuddle time with Parker. :)
The next day, we went to the mall with Steve's parents. They keep a stroller at their California house. Parker got to ride facing forward like a big boy and he looked at us like "Yeah, I'm a big boy now. I'm not a baby anymore." But he will always be my baby. :)
On Friday night, we drove (two hours in rush hour traffic) to Meredith's aunts house for a pizza party and roast! Parker just discovered that he can scream the most high pitched squeal and that's pretty much what he did that night. He was kind of a pill, to say the least. The only thing I could do to make him stop was let him suck on my finger (gross, but you do what you gotta do right?)...
Or he wanted to play with these dead leaves outside. It was loads of fun for Steve and I. :)
The morning of the wedding, we gave him a bath in the sink. He splashed around and played with the faucet the whole time. He is growing up too fast I tell you!
Clean baby!
I started introducing more solid foods to him. He LOVES sweet potatoes!!! He eats the whole bowl now!
On our way to the air port, we decided to go to Anthony's Fishette for some fish and chips. It was so yummy!
He started doing that high pitched squeal again so Steve told me to let him try sucking on a french fry... he liked it a little too much...
This is what happens when you take a fry away from a baby!... Bad idea!
He was happy again after I fed him and he fell asleep shortly after we got on the plane. He is such a cute, happy baby. We sure enjoyed our time in San Diego. We definitely weren't ready to come home!
I'm ready for another vacation. :)
