Daddy's Boy

This little boy has his daddy wrapped around his little chubby fingers. He wants to do EVERYTHING with him. The first thing Parker does when Steve gets home from work is grabs his truck keys from out of his hands, grabs his hand and points to the door-- he wants to go out and play in daddy's truck! And when Steve agrees, Parker giggles and talks gibberish to him the entire time!
He loves his mama, but when daddy's around-- forget about it-- he wants nothing to do with me (and I'm okay with it I guess...)
They do lots of fun things with each other like watching movies while wrestling on the ground...
they watch Signing Times first thing in the morning together...
and they even work on house projects together (here they are "baby proofing" the trash can.)
His dad even gets him dressed to go on an early morning jog (you can tell that I had nothing to do with putting this outfit together!!)
When Steve got home from his over-nighter Scout camp out, Parker was more than excited when he heard his dad's truck pull into the driveway! He giggled and ran to the garage door, opened it up and ran with open arms to welcome his daddy home. Melted my heart... but I'm sure it melted Steve's even more!
Steve loved Superman as a kid so I bought Parker his very own Superman shirt and every time he wears it, he looks identical to Steve's little boy pictures!
He loves when his daddy holds him.
 Best Buds forever.
I can't even imagine how much fun it's going to be to have another boy to add to all the excitement! I can just picture it already-- Parker and (?? we don't know his name yet) playing together and helping their daddy with his Saturday projects around the house. It doesn't get much better than that. I am so blessed to be married to such an incredible man. Our children and future children are so lucky to have him as their father. I love you Steve. :)

  1. He is definitely a daddy's boy! BTW, about not having a name for your new son, I may have a solution.
