Where Has Time Gone?

To my readers:
Have you missed me? :) Okay, I won't flatter myself by thinking that you have... but if you're wondering what I've been up to, I'll fill you in.
Today, I don't feel so well-- to be honest. I love feeling this sweet little guy inside of me but today is one of those days where my body just hurts. I was told by my doctor this morning that I am not allowed to work out for at least a week because I have been having so many contractions since yesterday mornings work out... whoops! You would think that I would know how to listen to my body by now, but I still forget. I am definitely not ready for this baby to come yet (considering I'm only 31 weeks along!)
But, on a happier note...
This little guy is growing up so fast and is surprising me everyday by how much he knows! He is starting to use more words now. Some of his new favorites are: car, eee-ya (which means "see ya"), bye-bye, he-wo (hello), yeah, apple, nana (for banana or my mom), and he repeats a lot of words when you ask him to. He started giving me random hugs and kisses again and he says "I-U" (which means I love you!) It melts my heart every time! He also loves dancing to "If You're Happy and You Know It" and knows all of the hand gestures! And he still sings "Ee-i-ee-i-oohh" every morning when he wakes up until we come in and get him in his crib! It is the best wake up call!
He also recently started pointing at my belly and saying "bee-bee" so I wonder if he kind of understands that I have a baby in my tummy. We'll see in a couple months...

I seriously love this little boy so much I don't even know how to contain myself from smooching his little  chubby cheeks off! Mmmm! He is such a fun little boy and I can't believe he will be 18 months on the 23rd! Time flies when you're having fun!

Now, I am off to put my feet up and delve into my book These Is My Words (if any of you were wondering what book I'm reading.) It's been a while since I've read something fun. I'll let you know how I liked it when I'm finished.
Happy Tuesday!

  7. Listen to your body-you don't want to be on bedrest or hospitalized with your pregnancy while having another little one to take care of! So your Parker is 18 months on the 23rd....my Parker is 19 months on the 24th! So close!! You are so brave for having another one already. They are all special in their own ways. Best of luck to you!
