Parkers 1st REAL hair cut

My baby boy (well I guess he's not really a baby anymore but he still is to me) got his first real hair cut! I have been going back and forth for weeks and finally decided it was time. I never thought I would be so attached to his hair. I've only done little tiny trims on his hair (basically to just even it out) but I knew that it was time for a classic "little boy hair cut." Parker was excited! I was pleasantly surprised!

Cutting that first big chunk of hair off with the clippers almost made me cry-- not a joke. But there was no turning back at that point!
"I'm not so sure about this mom..."
"Oh wait, yes I am. As long as Papa feeds me candy the whole time, I'm fine!!"

Look at that handsome little boy! Doesn't it make him look so grown up??
Papa checked to make sure his ears were even...
Yep, looks like they're even to me!
His cousin, Brayden, was next up for a "big boy" hair cut. He was such a good boy the whole time too, and he didn't even want candy!
Look at those little blondies!
"Is that really me? Dang, I look good!"

Give me a high five!!
The picture below is what Parker does when we say "So excited!!!" He is so funny!
I just can't even believe it! I have a "big boy hair cut!"
That face deserves a kiss!
Why didn't I do this a long time ago? I think it looks so cute on him, and he absolutely hates to have his hair combed in the morning, so it is way easier and less hair to manage!

Good times!

  1. How adorable!!! Parker man is awesome, I absolutely love him!!

  2. Oh my gosh, he is too stinking cute! The picture of Parker looking at himself in the mirror and his hands in his face is just too precious! He looks so grown up. Love it!

  3. Ok.... CUTEST.POST.EVER I can't believe Brayden is that BIG now! And Parker is the cutest boy. I seriously want to reach through the computer and smooch him!

  4. Awesome! I'm so glad you posted these adorable pictures! I loved how they both wanted to keep their shirts off. Thanks for the great big boy haircut for my Brayden boy! I LOVE IT!
