San Diego Vacation Part I

We took advantage of the three day weekend for Memorial day and headed over to San Diego. Parker was all geared up with his sunglasses, paci, snacks, a drink and a movie to watch on the drive over... I think he might be just a little bit spoiled. :)

 Little Hudson was excited too! Can you see him smiling in the mirror? He is such a darn, happy little guy. I can't get enough of his smiles!

 We had fun walking around the shops in La Jolla and eating at Smashburger for the first time. I LOVE my new Phil & Ted's double stroller!! It is so easy to push and smaller than my regular stroller, not a joke! I would highly recommend it!

 Later that night, we ordered our favorite lemon pepper chicken pizza from House of Pizza (sounds weird but it's delicious!) We took it to the park in La Jolla that overlooks the ocean and ate it while Parker ran around and played. It was so nice to enjoy the beautiful scenery and perfect weather as a family.

 Even our picky eater eats it, its that good! And it even has onion and squash on it! I need to figure out the recipe so I can make it at home!

 Parker loves his daddy more than anyone or anything in the world. I can see why. He wrestles with him, tickles him, tells him hilarious, random stories (that make me laugh even more than Parker because he has no idea what he is saying), brings him home a sucker every time he goes to the bank, and even gets him ready for bed every night! 

 We went swimming a couple of times too which was so fun!

 We have a little dare devil on our hands. He has no fear... which really scares me!

We had so much fun in Del Mar, as always. 

 Steve's last day in Cali before he flew back home for work.

 I spent the rest of the week visiting my amazing friend/cousin, Liz, who lives in San Diego. She created my new, adorable blog design! Don't you love it?? Stay tuned for more details on how that went....

P.S. I just realized I don't have any pictures of Hudson in this post-- how sad. The next post will have more pictures of him!
