We are always very sad when it comes time to head back to Arizona (especially in the summer!) So we decided to have some fun before we made our trek home. We went to a really fun kids science museum called the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center and to The American Museum of Natural History in Balboa Park. Even though it took us an hour to get there (because we got way lost) we still had fun!
Hudson enjoyed sipping on a bottle while we waited in line.
It was pretty humid outside that day, but I will take that over the AZ heat!
It's pretty hard to get Parker-Man to cooperate when we want to take a family photo... this is the best one we could get! I have to say that his grumpy face is awfully cute though! And little Hudson man loves to blow bubbles now.
The best part of the day was watching Parkers face when he was in the wind tunnel in the science museum!
This picture still makes me laugh every time I look at it!! He is not quite sure what is happening!
Then he realized that he liked it and went a second time with his dad and Uncle Tanner.
They had the neatest kids area for children 5 and under. Parker was in heaven.
We walked across the street to history museum and saw some pretty cool dinosaur bones, extinct whale bones and other fascinating things! We will definitely have to go back next time because it was Parkers nap time, so we didn't stay long.
Hudson sat in a bumbo for the first time. He really liked it!
On our way home, we stopped in El Centro to get some In-N-Out. Parker had fun playing with the stickers and putting them all over himself.
Hudson was as happy as a clam watching us eat our dinner and then got his grub (delicious milk) before heading home. We drove through crazy thunder and dust storms. It was actually really fun... a bit scary at times... but fun! Our boys slept peacefully through all the noise, which made it really nice.
The End.
