Christmas Recap

Wow, a lot has happened in the last couple weeks! I have SO many pictures to share.
We had our annual Steele Christmas party at my parents this year.
You're only cool if you smile with an orange peel in your mouth apparently. I guess I wasn't in the cool club this year. :)
Hudson is a little lot loved!

We went to Mimi's annual Christmas party. This year, we had it at her nursing home. It was a really nice evening. The kids even got a visit from Santa...

Parker loved Santa, but Hudson...
Hudson was NOT a fan of Santa Claus! These pictures say it all!

Christmas Eve: Started with Parker helping daddy make breakfast and ended with breakfast for dinner at Mimi and Grandpa's house.

Parker is fascinated with smart phones. He already knows how to find all the apps and can figure out how to play all of the little kid games. It's amazing!
It was really nice going to church on Christmas morning and remembering the true meaning of Christmas. Our Choir put on an amazing Christmas program. Steve and I both felt so overwhelmed with love and gratitude for our Savior Jesus Christ that day and for our beautiful children and family. The greatest gift we were given was the gift of everlasting life, and that is all because of our Savior. He is the only one who loved us enough to give us that most precious, incredible gift. I am so eternally grateful for Him and for His ultimate sacrifice so that I can have everlasting joy and be with my family forever.
Matchy-Matchy Christmas outfits. Aren't they adorable?

Parker asked Santa for a flashlight for Christmas and got two of them! Hudson got a new swing for our swing-set from Santa. Parker also got some really sweet tools,  a couple of movies (one of which is The Lion King, he is obsessed now!) They got spoiled at both sets of grandparents houses too!

We got to talk to Trevor on Skype! He was so cute as always. It was great to see his face and talk to him for a little bit! Look at that adorable smile! I love him!

After Christmas at the in-laws, we were off to my parents house for more gifts and a lovely Christmas dinner. We spent the night at their house and the boys all rode horses the next day. It was so nice!

Parker loves to help cook now! It's a little nerve-racking for me, but he actually does a pretty good job and is extremely obedient in the kitchen. I threaten him that he could get burned or hurt very bad if he doesn't follow directions. He is so cute!
Now my kids are enjoying being home and playing with their new toys.

Wow. It was a lot of fun, but now I'm pooped!

We are now ready for a relaxing New Years weekend full of lounging, eating homemade food, quad rides, naps and goal setting for 2012!
Happy New Year everyone!
