He Knows What I Need

I am really starting to discover that God knew what He was doing when He created us and that He knows what we all need. He knew that I needed three older sisters to be able to look up to, to be able to talk to whenever I needed to talk, laugh, vent, or cry. He knew I needed a mother who was very patient, loving, nurturing, and and above all a peace maker.
He knew that I needed a father who loves his children more than life itself and who loves to spend quality time with his family. I needed a father who was a hard worker, who loved to laugh and have a good time but above all-- a father that would teach me put God and our Savior first in my life.
He knew that I needed a husband who loves me unconditionally, and who makes me want to be a better person and brings the best out in me in everything that I do. He knew that I needed a husband who was funny, charming, intelligent and a hard worker. But above all, He knew that together, we would be able to have our own family and raise our children in a righteous and loving home. And I pray everyday for guidance and strength to fulfill that covenant with my Father in Heaven.
He knew that when I would see my son for the first time, that I would begin to understand how much he really loves all of His children.
Today, I was able to realize how truly blessed I am to have a loving Heavenly Father who truly knows what I need.

  2. I know exactly what you mean. He knew that I would need all those same things and then in return I should be the best parent I know how to be. I was just thinking today about my own mother, I even told Heavenly Father that, if he would, please tell my mom 'thank you' for being such an amazing mother to me. Funny I should read your words today, it reminded me again of all the blessings in my life... including 4 amazing daughters!
